Kraft and Black Hello

A quick and simple card today...using a piece of patterned paper and a couple Simon Says Stamp dies...
I got a pack of paper that has kraft and black designs(DIY Shop Kraft Patterns 6x6 by American Crafts), LOVE this floral piece!!  Die cut the paper, popped up on card, and added a die cut and layered sentiment.  You may not have this paper, but could easily do a background stamp with black on kraft...I'M excited at the possibilities!!  Here's a close up...
You could do a die cut "Thanks" , a stamped "thinking of you" or "happy birthday"...this would look pretty with a whole lot of sentiments...what simple, wonderful fun!!

"Wishing" Merry Christmas Trees

I'm in Florida with Noah, visiting my daughter and son-in-law for the next week...or two😊!!  I have a few cards to share with you while I'm gone from my craft room, that I made before leaving.
I can't wait for winter and Christmas...wishing it was here already!  Here's a card I made with Simon's sweet Wishing Trees die...
I die cut the trees from a dark green cardstock, then filled them in with die cut trees from 3 more different colored green cardstocks.  I hand cut some white yardstick, and made it into kind of snow drifts on the card.  I used a gold paper to die cut a star for the one tree, and used gold embossing powder for the sentiment...giving the card "balance"...a little gold on the left, a little gold on the right.  Here's a close up of the trees, and the sentiment....

Hope you are having a great week...and having fun creating!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Hello Friend

I loved the sketch from a couple weeks ago over at CAS(E) this Sketch so much, I made yet ANOTHER card based on that fun sketch!  Here's my card and the sketch...

I used a bunch of sweet Simon dies to make this card, layered all the die cuts twice...the sentiment 3x, and added some hand drawn dots to the in between the leaves. I did sponge the color onto cardstock before I die cut the leaves.   I glossy accented the "hello" and added a stamped sentiment below it(Simon's set Tiny Tags).  Here's a close up...
Just because a sketch challenge ends, the inspiration doesn't have to:)...such fun!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Happy Birthday with Love

I made a Happy Birthday card with the Painted Happy Birthday die from Simon Says Stamp...the font is so much fun...
I paired the die with 1/2" cut pieces of heart patterned paper (from Reverse Confetti) that were adhered together on a thin piece of cardstock, and then layered the sentiments.   I added a piece of a cut up sentiment stamp from Simon Says Stamp's retired set Filled with Love set, to tie the birthday die cut sentiment to stamp.  I used a stitched rectangle to give the raised white panel some interest.  Here's a closeup...
Rainbows and hearts...LOVE!!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

You are Beautiful

I used the pretty Simon Says Stamp set, Sketch Ranunculus to make a card to share with you...
I stamped the large and small circular flowers on a piece of vellum with versamark(using a static bag first so that white powder doesn't stick everywhere), then white embossed.  I colored on the back of the stamped images with 2 different shades of pink Prismacolor markers.  I added a black strip to each side of the triangular panel pieces, and used a sentiment from the set.  Here's a closeup...
Okay, I know I say this all the time, but...what FUN!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

You Make the World...

I couldn't resist one more card like yesterday's, with watercolored, die cut leaves...
I used the My Favorite Things Layered Leaves dies and the old (I think retired)Vertical Greetings stamp set. I stamped the sentiment and clear embossed.   I was having so much fun coloring my watercolor paper with my Peerless paints...I let the papers dry, then die cut with the middle and smallest leaf dies.  I stamped the borders with Simon Says Stamp's Diagonal Stripes background stamp.  Here's a close up...
LOVING the Fall leaves and colors!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

CAS(E) this Sketch 186...Fall Leaves Thanks

There's a new sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!  Here's my card and this week's sketch...
(I edited my card and moved my leaves a little lower to go a bit better with the sketch.)

Feeling in a "Fall" mood today...even though the heat index is in triple digits here in Virginia...ugh.  I used watercolor paper, watercolors, and Impression Obsession die, to make my leaves.  I colored the paper, then die cut.  I do think this is a first in maybe forever, or at least in a LONG time...I DIDN'T LAYER THE LEAVES!!  Watercolor paper is pretty thick anyway, but I thought they looked more like delicate leaves with single layers.  I added Lawn Fawn's Stitched borders(all of them still attached to one another)on an angle for the bottom of the card.  The sentiments are by Altenew.  Here's a close up...
I just can't get enough of these sketches, of late...SUCH FUN!!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

**EDITED**
Thank you so much, ladies, for the recognition of my card as a FAVORITE for this week's challenge...

...you made MY week!!!
